About Us

Founded and built by Paul Kiker and John Roach, Whitestone Lake Estates is a gated water ski community nestled in the north Georgia mountains of Talking Rock; less than an hour drive north of Atlanta.  There are two competition ski lakes and 45 property lots including 16 lakefront lots.

Whitestone plays host to several water ski tournaments during the season.  We have hosted the 2006 and 2007 AWSA Southern Regional Championships, the 2003 Southern Region Barefoot Championships, the 2005 Kneeboard Nationals and the first stop on the 2008 Pro Water Ski Tour.

The facilities include a large pavilion between the lakes which provides excellent spectator viewing and space for officials during tournaments.  The site also has a clubhouse on the north end of Lake 1 which features a changing area and other amenities.

Each lake is equipped with a Correct Craft Ski Nautique, a boat dock with boat hoist, a roomy starting dock and a slalom course.  Additionally, Lake 1 has a jump ramp and jump course.  All courses are surveyed record capable.  The Correct Craft Ski Nautiques are updated on a biennial basis.

Currently, there are 12 homes with more on the way.
